It is recommended that following a facial peel treatment you should allow your skin to recover for 4 – 6 weeks before undergoing dermal filler treatment; this varies on the type of peel.

Treatment result last between 6 – 24 months, depending on a variety of factors such as product type, the area injected, degree of correction, age, skin type and lifestyle. Also, the purpose of the filler, e.g. skin boosters to help improve skin quality is very different to a deep filler. That is why the correct best quality filler, placed in the right depth and amount and technique, by an expert, are the crucial factors that will determine your results.

This depends partly on the individual and skin type, age and lifestyle. As with any medical treatments where the skin has been penetrated there is always the chance of redness, bruising, swelling and discomfort. There may be slight bruising and swelling in a few people, but it should subside within a few days. However, in our experience, the majority of our patients have very few or none of these issues. More serious complications can occur, and these include blindness and stroke, however, these are very rare. This is one of the essential reasons you should check that only medically qualified and licensed practitioners with sufficient training and experience are doing your treatments.
